Within this large data centre, ESH supplied and installed over 450 metres of type FBT self regulating trace heating cable. The system requirement was to provide frost protection to the external water services pipework.

Supplied and installed and trace heating system to frost protect a short run of external steel pipework between the factory and the CHP building.

Horiba Instruments, Northamptonshire

ESH designed, supplied and installed materials to heat raise the temperature of flexible stainless steel and copper tubing from +20°C up to +191°C.

First Bus (Cumbernauld & Victorica Road), Glasgow

Our final project for First Bus saw ESH, design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to two identical sets of external pipework over two sites. In total over 250 metres of type VC constant wattage heating cable was installed.

Provided frost protection to a run of external pipework similar to the other First Bus projects. The system was designed, supplied and installed use type VC constant wattage cable.

First Bus, Dumbarton

Type VC constant wattage trace heating tape was supplied and installed to provide frost protection to external pipework at this new bus depot site.

First Bus, Parkhead

Supplied and installed over 260 metres of constant wattage trace heating cable to provide frost protection within Parkhead's brand new bus depot.

The first of five projects for First Bus up in Scotland. This large new bus depot required over 700 metres of pipework frost protecting. ESH designed, supplied and installed the trace heating system utilising our type VC constant wattage cable.

New Strood Academy, Kent

For this large project within the new multi-million pound academy in Kent, ESH supplied and installed over 1500 metres of self regulating trace heating tape. The project scope was to:

• To provide frost protection to the CHW & LTHW pipework external on the roof.

• Maintain 55°C on the DHWS internal pipework.

Whitton Health Centre, Twickenham

Type FBT self regulating heating tape was supplied and installed to perform the duty of frost protecting the external water service pipework.

Caterpillar Re-manufacturing Services, Shrewsbury

Here at the European Remanufacturing Centre of the Caterpillar remanufacturing Services Division, ESH supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to a section of 150mm metal pipework within the cooling tower area.

Bovril Unilever, Burton Upon Trent

For this tasty project, ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to pipework within the kitchen areas and tower. In total just under 1km of type FBT self regulating heating cable was installed throughout this project.

Abraham Darby Sports and Learning Community, Telford

For this local school project, ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system for the heating pipework. The steel pipework was situated in three areas - primary school roof, academy roof and leisure centre roof.

* When Is Frost Protection Trace Heating Required? *

Roger Bullivant Ltd, Burton-On-Trent

ESH designed, supplied and installed a process temperature maintenance trace heating system to a large plastic vessel 2.3m x 2.1m. The vessel required maintaining at a temperature between 10°C to 20°C. 

Walford Timber, Herefordshire

Here we supplied and install a frost protection trace heating system to over 150 metres of external metal pipework up to 150mm in diameter.

Ribblesdale Plant, Lancashire

Supplied and installed the trace heating system and thermal insulation to provide frost protection to both metal and plastic external pipework.

Esholt WWTW

Within this waste water treatment works, ESH designed, supplied, installed and commissioned two trace heating systems to provide:

• Temperature maintenance of +15°C on two large caustic tanks (4m x 2m)
• Frost protection to external pipework
