London Dance Academy, Central Street (The Basement)

Finally a project which would allow our installation engineers to throw some shapes whilst working. For this large project, ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a trace heating system to frost protect pipework up to 150mm NB. 

The pipework in question comprised of the sprinkler and boosted cold water pipes in the tank room and car park areas.

In total ESH installed just under 2000 metres of type VC constant wattage trace heating cable.

ESH supplied these projects with 325m of type VC constant wattage heating tape along with ancillaries.

One Hyde Park, London

One Hyde Park is a major residential and retail complex located in Knightsbridge, London. With prices ranging from £3.6 million for a one-bedroom flat to £136 million for a penthouse apartment, this truly was a breathtaking project to be apart of.

ESH were contacted to design, supply and install a hot water temperature maintenance trace heating system to the hot water services pipework, within the penthouse apartments.

In total over 650 metres of H2OWAT self regulating heating cable was installed to achieve the required temperature of +55°C.

Sirius Academy, Hull

Within this contemporary academy, ESH supplied and installed over 580 metres of WinterTrace constant wattage heating tape along with six trace heating monitoring units to provide frost protection to the sprinkler system pipework.

Leaton Quarry, Telford

The recycle oil pipework required trace heating and thermal insulation in order to maintain a temperature of +50°C. ESH supplied and installed type VC constant wattage heating tape to the stainless steel pipework to achieve the required temperature.

Barclays Data Centre, Barnwood

Within this large data centre, ESH designed, supplied and installed a trace heating system to frost protect 8 sets of water cylinders. Each set comprises two adjacent steel bottles approximately 1.7m tall, 350mm diameter mounted in a steel cabinet, together with 1m of interconnecting pipework. Type VC constant wattage heating tape was installed throughout this project.

Rhodia UK, Oldbury

Designed, supplied and installed trace heating for the frost protection of 90m of 25mm pipe in the CLB plant area.

Davyhulme WWTW, Manchester

Over 700 metres of type FBT self regulating heating cable was supplied and installed to provide frost protection to external metal pipework.

Cardinal Heenan & Broughton Hall School, Liverpool

ESH were back in Liverpool to supply and installed a short run frost protection system to cold water pipework to a temporary boiler system.

Swanlea School, Whitechapel

The project scope here was to supply and install a trace heating system to temperature maintain the DHWS pipework at +55°C in an ambient temperature of +18°C. 160m of H2OWAT55 was required to complete the system.

Cardinal Heenan & Broughton Hall School

Supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to the following external kitchen pipework:

• Air handling unit pipe
• Cold water system pipe
• Hot water flow & return pipework
• 3 x CT pipework

Veolia Water, Telford

To supply materials only to trace heat the following applications: Frost protect the carrier water and sludge pump pipework and temperature maintain the caustic line pipework at +20°C.

Rhodia UK, Oldbury

ESH were contracted to strip, supply and install trace heating and re-insulate three sets of pipework within a 'Phoshine' area:

• 16m of 1" stainless steel Acid pipework to be temperature maintained at +60°C 
• 32m of 1" mild steel shower pipe to be frost protected 
• 18m of 2" stainless steel vent line pipe to be frost protected
