Phoshine Plant, Oldbury

For this project ESH supplied and installed a trace heating and thermal insulation system for frost protecting two runs of cooing water pipework. The 2.5" diameter carbon steel pipes were straight traced with VCBOJ constant wattage heating tape.

New Primark Store, Stockport

Designed, supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to the external CHW and heating pipework. Over 220 metres of type VC constant wattage heating tape was installed.

For this water treatment works, ESH design, supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to the following areas:

• Sludge mix pipes
• Polyelectrolyte pipework
• Hose feed pipes
• Supernatant pipe
• Slude transfer pipeline
• Boosted cold water system
• Emergency shower feed pipes

Type VC 240v constant wattage heating cable was installed throughout this project.

Shap WTW

Within this new wastewater treatment works in Cumbrian Fells, ESH designed, supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to external plastic and metal pipework. In total ESH installed over 450 metres of type FBT self regulating heating cable.

Hugbridge WWTW

A similar project to Shap WTW, ESH installed and supplied type FBT self regulating heating tape to frost protect plastic and metal pipework. 300m of trace heating cable was installed throughout this contract.

University of Wolverhampton Performance Hub

The University of Wolverhampton's school of sports, performing arts and leisure. Here ESH designed, supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to the external BCWS and CHW pipework on the buildings roof and ground floor.

Over 430 metres of type VC constant wattage heating cable was installed throughout this project.

Kingsway Tunnel, Liverpool

The Kingsway Tunnel (or Wallasey Tunnel) is a 1.5 mile tunnel under the River Mersey. Here ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to the water pipework in the hydrant stations underneath the main road in the tunnel. 

This large scale project required over 2.2km of constant wattage heating cable in total.

Bluewater Events Centre, Kent

Within this large events centre, ESH designed and supplied materials, tools and labour to install and commission a trace heating system to frost protect approximately 326 metres of CHW pipework.

Runways End Activity Centre, Aldershot

Provided frost protection to the BCWS pipework in the canoe building and the BCWS and rainwater pipe in the camping building. Overall we supplied and installed constant wattage heating cable to cover 200m of metal pipework.

Dartmouth Park Pavilion, West Bromwich

As part of the £6.3m restoration of West Bromwich's Dartmouth Park Pavilion, ESH were contracted to design, supply and install two separate trace heating systems:

• To temperature maintain the internal domestic hot water services pipework at +55°C

• Provide frost protection to the external chilled water pipework

UEL Primary School, Barking

To design, supply materials and labour to install, test and commission a trace heating and thermal insulation system to provide frost protection to sprinkler pipework.
